This painting goes beyond referencing art history. It explores ideas of freedom, obedience, and the patterns we unconsciously follow. Inspired by Van Gogh’s imagery of confined movement, the work asks whether we continue to walk in circles even after the walls have disappeared and whether the routines we accept are chosen, or simply inherited.
