I painted this when I felt like I’ve been stuck in the same place over the years. It’s difficult to have faith in such times when growth feels invisible. This piece is a reminder for myself and for anyone walking through a similar wilderness – that even when the struggle feels endless, even when we question our place in this world or feel tempted to give, you are not alone. However cliché it may sound – don’t be afraid, don’t give up. It may seem like an endless walk through the desert but God is by your side. The wilderness may seem like a place without maps buts lets walk by faith, not by sight. And remember the demons around you are chained. So don’t be afraid, God is in
control.
